1. About the Artist

Lorna Pauls is a professional fine artist specializing in wildlife watercolours. Her works are available for purchase through this website’s online shop, and she accepts commissions based on availability.

2. Online Shop Purchases

  • All artwork listed in the online shop is subject to availability.

  • Prices are listed in South African Rand and may be subject to change without notice.

  • Payments are processed securely via the Payfast payment gateway.

  • Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled unless agreed upon in writing.

  • Shipping costs and delivery times will be provided at checkout. International buyers are responsible for any applicable customs fees or duties.

3. Commissions

  • Commissioned artwork is created in consultation with the client and based on agreed specifications.

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm all commissions. Work will not begin until the deposit is received.

  • The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to delivery.

  • Deposits are non-refundable due to time, materials, and scheduling commitments made upon agreement.

  • Any substantial changes requested after initial approval may incur additional charges.

  • Estimated completion timelines will be communicated at the start but may vary depending on the complexity of the piece.

4. Copyright & Usage

  • All artworks, whether original or commissioned, remain the intellectual property of Lorna Pauls unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.

  • Commissioning a piece does not transfer copyright ownership.

  • Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or use commissioned artwork for commercial purposes without express permission.

5. Returns & Refunds

  • Due to the nature of original artwork, returns or exchanges are not accepted unless the item arrives damaged.

  • If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence to arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.

6. Privacy

  • Your personal information is used solely for the purpose of processing orders and communicating with you. We will not share or sell your information to third parties.

  • The website uses cookies for functional and analytical purposes. By using the website, you consent to this use.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Lorna Pauls is not liable for any damages arising from the use of this website or from products purchased, beyond the cost of the item purchased.
